This page is for every Kenyan, whoever you support. If you are not registered, you cannot vote. It takes four steps.

Start step 1 — get your voter card
  1. 1

    Check if you can register

You are Kenyan, 18 or older, and you have an ID or a passport.

  2. 2

Carry your original ID or passport

No photocopies. Register in the ward where you live and will vote.

  3. 3

    Go to an IEBC office

Every constituency office registers voters all year. Big drives also open before elections.

  4. 4

    Check your details

Use the IEBC service to confirm you are registered and see your polling station.

Take people with you

Start a group and organise transport, reminders and a walk to the office together. We count how many went — never who.
